Hawt Duramax for your time.
We haven’t been able to do anything yet, but we will be taking her to small claims court unless she pays us in full in the next day. I’m also considering dumping all the shit we removed from her house right out front, or spreading it around a little bit.
Only good thing is that we have $14,000 worth of patios to construct this weekend, and since my and a friend own the business, we get to keep a decent amount of it.
UPDATE: THEY PAID! Little would one know, people generally respond to “I’m heading your way right now with a couple of cops” with “Fine, ok I will pay you great master lord jkm.”

This is good, except ugly wheels and satanic paint.

Satanic? That’s a fucking dinosaur.

Keep in mind that any retribution will end up costing you in the end. The judge may rule against you for being an ass or she may counter-sue for the costs of having someone else come remove the debris you dump.
When you do take her to court, be sure to add in any expenses associated with pursuing her for the payment - time off work, travel costs, etc.

That is true. Maybe I won’t dump all that shit back at her house. I haven’t been an ass yet, we are pretty professional.
We did have two thiccccc loads of shit to take to our disposal site, travel costs and materials for the job.

The crazy thing is there is another dinosaur decorated f350 in CDA. But sr20 so whatever I regret not photographing that truck when I had a chance.

Wow, haha. Wonder if there’s a crazy guy in a paint booth just pumping them out. 5 year old me would probably have liked that kind of thing though.

The other one was identical but green not orange so that seems very likely. That’s not a wrap, that’s very high quality painting.

Can I get your opinion on a tree removal fee?

Oh so relevant

I’ve got this magnolia in the front yard. It’s clearly dying. Rot in the base. In the last 3 years pieces of it have sheared off at the trunk in wind storms. I was quoted $750 this morning to remove and grind the trunk down 12 inches. Good price? Old pic. It’s much bigger now.

That’s just about what I’d charge for something like that. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. How many feet is it from the house?
![]() 05/31/2018 at 21:30 |
|
It’s a good 15 feet but my concern is it falling into the street, on my truck or into my sons room.
![]() 05/31/2018 at 21:37 |

Gotcha, what I’ve done is work from the top and just trim shit off and slowly take it down piece by piece.... But it does depend on how cooperative the tree is feeling.

I think I’ll pull the trigger. They haul away everything too.

Dump it on their yard.
![]() 06/01/2018 at 00:37 |

They paid, my actual job kinda wouldn’t support me doing that.

Yeah, make sure the misses the truck, the street, and the house. AND MAKE SURE THE TREE HITS THE COROLLA!!!!

Hold the pa-hone. You’re an arborist?!
![]() 06/01/2018 at 01:45 |

He sold the Corolla last year actually

Fuuuuck no, this is my side hustle and we happen to haphazardly remove trees.
![]() 06/01/2018 at 08:33 |

750 bucks? Hmm... I have an idea for a sideline business all of a sudden!
I would never have guessed it costs that much for safe tree removal.

Ha ha. That’s an old pic. Both of those are long gone.

It’s really good money, but not consistent. That’s why I do it as a side job. Like for a 12x12 patio I can charge $7,000 and people will pay that.
![]() 06/01/2018 at 14:37 |
|
We want to redo our patio next year, but I’m not paying anybody any amount of US dollars to do it!

It’s really easy, just tedious and you have to have an eye for detail.
